Alexis Goujard offers his advice in La Revue du Vin de France to build a cellar with a tight budget. He chose only 6 wines from the Côtes du Rhône appellation including our cuvée La Brusquembille! What an honor! ♤🍷♤

Domaine Pique-Basse, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Roaix Rosé, L’Ambigu 2022 from Roaix village is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and illustrates the structure achieved with Mourvèdre. Vibrantly fresh red berry fruit aromas followed by deliciously ripe strawberries and raspberries make this unashamedly a rosé, perfect for summer drinking with long acidity reflecting its more northerly location.
We are honored to have received a 90/100 rating for our Rasteau 2022!

Matt Walls' Decanter selection of the Best Côtes du Rhône Villages of December 2023
"A rare 100% pure Grenache Blanc that combines freshly cut white pear and white
flowers on the nose. A mild citrus note on the palate provides lift, then a white bread
yeastiness on the finish. A very Mediterranean white with its broadness on the
palate and low acidity. Not a wine with a strong aromatic profile or assertive
character, but has a highly enjoyable individual style. 45-year-old vines, matured on
the lees without stirring. Biodynamic."
This terroir consists of gravelly or stony terraces where decalcified red clay mixes.
